Luci Lou Bernos 4/01/08 - 10/19/15

Our Luci Lou came to us as a timid little ball of white fur. She quickly grew into a fierce watchdog, barking at any unfamiliar noise or unknown visitor. She had many puppy friends throughout her life that she enjoyed playtime with, but she knew she was the only doggie love in ours. Hedgehogs were her favorite toys, and she loved chewing on raw hides or, even better, finding bones in the yard to try to sneak inside. She'd huff at you from the bedside if you were sleeping too late, and she'd bark for help when her toys would slide under the shelf or deep into the couch cushions. She was quite nosy, and she enjoyed being in the middle of anything that was happening in our home. She didn't like baths and never would go down stairs.

We adored her white fro, her spiral curls, and her long eyelashes. She'd get so excited to 'go bye', and just the sight of her purple harness in your hands would send her into a frenzy. Wendy's double stacks were her FAVORITE, and she'd cry with excitement when Grandpa would visit and bring her her very own. Our sweet girl was known for her BIG personality and her precious looks. White and apricot colored, she was beauty in the finest canine form. She knew how to smile and could pose for any photo. Her big, black, sad-looking eyes could capture any heart, and they earned her lots of extra biscuits before bedtime. Those big black eyes would get her out of the biggest trouble.

My sweet angel, if our love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. Our sweet Luci Lou, you showed us love in the purest form. You taught us about life and showed us how to live it. We will always carry you in our hearts, and our home will always be yours. We'll wait for the day that you come running towards us again.
