Jackson made his 13th birthday this past October 29th and left with the angels
December 15th 2011. It was the hardest day of my life to have to make the decision
to put him to rest. His arthritis and old age took its toll on his body and I owed
it to my best friend to aid him in leaving this world with dignity.
This picture was taken very recently of Jackson sitting in his favorite spot in the yard looking so
wise and reflective. It looks as though he knows what lies ahead and is ready for
his journey.
I just returned home from my first New Years camping trip without him,
to find that his votive had arrived. I can't describe the feeling I felt when I lit
the candle next to a photo of him and his ashes. It was almost like he was right
there with me again and it provided me with comfort. I will light this candle daily
on behalf of my big "buckethead" Action Jackson.. May he rest in eternal peace.
