It's starting to set in that you're really gone and it just leaves me heartbroken. I still picture you in your warm little bed at home, waiting for me to wake you up. Or me laying on the couch and you clawing your way into my sweatshirt for my warmth. I'm going to miss your little happy howl you'd make when I'd make you boiled chicken and say "It's for you, it's for youuu!". And when you'd follow me into my room and I would just sit on the floor and pet you. Most times I couldn't even leave the house without you following me to the stairs and I'd always take five extra minutes to pet you and say goodbye. I didn't think it would be this soon.
Rest in Peace, Dekca. You were my prefect little handful of love and I'll keep you snuggled up in my heart forever.
