Our son Caden was 7 years old (05/23/02 - 08/14/09) when he succumbed to a lifetime of living with a Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID), resulting in bone marrow failure. Caden was a very gifted little boy whose body unfortunately failed him. His father and I miss him so much, he was our only child. Love lives on and we know we'll meet again. He's not gone, just gone on ahead. Until then Caden!

As a lover of candles, and having lit one nearly every day since Caden passed I was excited when I came across Mourninglights. I just received my first one of Caden yesterday and I love it!
